Launching: AI, Tried Today
Why I’m starting a small, public journal of learning to use AI.
I’ve been spending a lot of time recently learning how to use AI in my day-to-day work—trying tools, experimenting with workflows, bumping into surprises, and slowly building intuition by doing.
I should say that I’ve been using AI tools in various forms for a few years now. But something feels like it has clearly shifted over the last six months: the pace of change, the breadth of tools, and how usable they’ve become in everyday work. It’s started to feel different enough that it seemed sharing what I’m learning as I go — of course, mainly from others!
This is a place to share that process as it happens. Short notes on what I tried that day, what worked (or didn’t), and what I noticed along the way. It will be pretty raw, and I’m certainly not a big expert — it’s more, learning in public, one day at a time.
